Susanna Loewy received a Doctor of Musical Arts from Rutgers University/Mason Gross School of the Arts, and a Master and Bachelor’s of Music from The Cleveland Institute of Music.

Her primary teachers included Jeffrey Khaner, Joshua Smith, and Bart Feller.

She is recorded on Apparitions and Whimsies, a Centaur Records publication, and published through Harper Collins Publishing in a book entitled A Daily Dose of Classical Music.

she is currently the flute professor at kutztown university and is a Teaching Artist for the Philadelphia Orchestra. She also teaches and performs throughout the country.
